After work I take off to my sister's. She lives west of Chicago and we are celebrating Joanna's 2nd birthday on Saturday! What a cutie! We got her an MSU teeshirt, some crazy mismatched sox. A Very Hungry Caterpillar card game, and a little board book about ladybugs. I'm having more fun with it than she ever will! ;P

ladybuggirl!!!! Yay! Ladybugs are the best, and little girls who love them and who have aunties who do to, are the luckies girls in the world! Have fun in Chicago! I'm going there in a month or so for an aquarium conference. :)

Hahaha...I am singing the "Joanna" song already! :)

We call her "Nano" and "iPod Nano", too, because that is what her big brother named her.

True! Joanna is quite proud of the fact that she loves bugs like her cousin, Ashlee. (my daughter).

Oh and good luck wif yer strawberries! I planted sunflowers, greenbeans, carrots & peas over the weekend. Then it rained a lot this week. Good timing! I still need to find somewhere to plant cucumbers...

She is such a doll! And having a big brother just a couple of years older than she is....she's a toughie! I can't wait to see her tomorrow!

Oh, you did great! When I get back from Chi I will get my sunflowers planted! And get the garden all ready for the 'matoes!!! YUM YUM YUM!

I have several of my flowerbeds all springtime-ized now! That's a great feeling!

I will get a picture of the MSU teeshirt this weekend! We had to find it online and have it mailed to her...you would be completely appalled by the lack of toddler sized MSU clothing! Harummmmph indeed! :D

I <3 ladybugs. I have a ladybug bracelet and at least 3 different pairs of ladybug earrings. And sadly, I have a couple deceased ladybugs on my floor. I don't know how they get inside.
