The Escapees
Murray is standing up to visit Crustabel. Both "escaped" from the city Animal Control with a bit of help!
Murray is doing fantastic. What a happy boy he is. He loves the other dogs and cats in the house and is very fond of the guinea pigs, although I can't say that feeling is reciprocated.
Crusty is in the top cage, here, looking out. She is as happy as a pig can be. The bad news is she more than likely has lymphoma. There are tumors growing in her abdomen. She is basically bald from the midsection down, and her belly just gets bigger and harder by the day.
It's ok. She would have been either ignored-to-death or put to death at animal control and she is very obviously in no pain here. She loves her food, her water and her many snacks throughout the day. This is all that matters!
That happy little look on her face makes me smile EVERY time!

She looks happy for now, and loved.
Crusty DOES look happy! Sorry about her lymphoma, but glad she is in no pain.
I hope that it is no more than friendly curiosity on the part of Murray ;)
You're giving Crusty Piggeh the attention and love few people would find it in themselves to do.
Make her time before the Rainbow Bridge as comfortable and happy as you can. And keep an eye on Murray!
Hahahaha....um VERY funny, Ms. Rumpants.
I so veddy do hopes that be "rum-pants" and NOT "rump-ants"
Rumpants, however, that could be ANY of us! ;)
