I keep stealing Tom's QotD!

Name three words or phrases you wish you'd coined:

1. Craptastic/and or/ craptacular. As in "How's your workday going?"

2. Cubic Assload. As in, a whole lot. I learned this one from David Bobavey!!!

3. Ok Fine Used Trucks. Learned from crankypants. It's a sign at a business and also a great sarcastic snotty retort to someone who knows it all.

One phrase I DID just coin this weekend: "I'll meet you at Cork St. and Sprinkle Rd."

Which means, "Don't hold your breath, I won't be there." On my way to Chicago last weekend I passed the exit for Cork St. and Sprinkle Rd, and thought, "I just have to find a way to use that."

I love cubic assload too! And craptastic! How about "holy fuckballs," also from crankypants? I use that one whenever I can, its so awesome. Honest, the most valuable things I've learned in the past two years have been from my Vox hoodies! Ha!

Holy Fuckballs is from Kathy Griffin, and OK Fine Used Trucks is from my 10th grade Geometry teacher, Mr. Trabosh. he had a slew of them, like "my grandmother could do that one, and she's six feet under." Or "...and she's pushing up daisies" coincidentally both tv show titles.

And YES! Cubic assload---I have passed that one along to people.

I think I must credit cranky with one of my favs: fucktard. That's a cranky-ism, isn't it?

The first time I heard (read) the word "fucktard" was in a Christopher Moore book.
It might have been "The Stupidest Angel." .....maybe?

He also coined "dogasm" which is how happy a dog is rolling around on it's back in a pile of stinky stuff.

Me, too! Someday I plan to go through all of Chris Moore's books and make a glossary of words he has made up.
He makes me laugh ALL the time!

Fucktard is one of my favorite words. Tom Robbins has made up some pretty funny words, too, like "peachfish."
